Let you edit the unit in Starcraft
better , but you need the Stardraft program to
enable you to make changes on starcraft.
MpqViewer
View the content of StarDat.mpq
in the starcraft directory or install.exe in the CD.
You can even extract files from
it . But you cannot put files into it .
Stardraft
Let you make changes in the stacraft
game , this program is very useful , you can
change a lot of things in the game
including unit graphics , potraits , weapons , ability and much much more.
To change things in the game , first you have to make a CWAD file first
using the CWAD program , then put the file(s) you want to change in the
CWAD files , and then rename the file(s) in the CWAD file to the full path
for example 'arr/units.dat ' , to know the full path of the file , use
MPQVIEWER and see the file .For example' if you want to change weapons.dat
,
first , you have to open stardat.mpq
with mpqviewer and search for the weapons.dat , then you'll find arr/weapons.dat
, and that's the full path , then when you want to play starcraft , use
the file call ploader(patch loader) and it will ask you whether to run
starcraft or staredit , click on starcraft and then there will a few files
for you to tick in the checkboxes , tick on the file you want to use .
